Media Impact

Media Impact is a subsidiary of Axel Springer SE and Funke Media-Group and markets the portfolio of the newspapers (national advertising of BILD, BILD am SONNTAG, WELT-Group), the magazines and their associated digital media. In doing so, the business division does not only offer the largest readership on the German print media market, but at the same time it creates the conditions to provide innovative and individual customized solutions across all media channels.

Funke Mediengruppe

FUNKE MEDIA GROUP focuses on two business areas: regional media as well as women's magazines and TV guides. FUNKE employs more than 1,500 journalists and about 4,000 media specialists. In Germany, the company publishes newspapers in Berlin, Hamburg, Lower-Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia and Thuringia - among others "Berliner Morgenpost", "Braunschweiger Zeitung", "Hamburger Abendblatt", "Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung" and "Thüringer Allgemeine". Regarding magazines FUNKE is one of the leading publishers. Its portfolio includes magazines namely "Hörzu", "Gong", "die aktuelle", "Frau im Spiegel", "Bild der Frau" and additionally issues journals covering animal, puzzle, liefestyle and special interest content. At all locations where FUNKE releases daily newspapers FUNKE also owns leading advertising journals. FUNKE holds majority interests in local radio stations in North Rhine-Westphalia. Furthermore, the company operates on the Austrian market ("Kronen Zeitung", "Kurier").
